The Muslim Investor (TMI) is an Islamic finance education platform founded by Mehdi from Dubai, UAE.

TMI is NOT a financial advisory service. We do not provide personalized investment recommendations or manage client funds.
2. What Data We Collect
Each TMI tool collects only what is necessary to deliver its function. Here is exactly what each tool collects and why:
TMI Mission Pledge (/pledge)
Collected: Name, email, date of signing.
Purpose: Personalize your certificate, deliver it to your email, and track community growth.
TMI Investor Profile (/tools/profile)
Collected: Name, email, country of residence, 35 assessment responses.
Purpose: Generate your personalized investor report and recommended allocation. Country is used for localization and segmentation — it does NOT affect your profile or allocation results.
Akhirah Financial Compass (/tools/compass)
Collected: Name, email, financial data (income, expenses, debts, emergency fund), demographics.
Important: Your detailed financial data is processed ENTIRELY in your browser. It is NEVER sent to our servers. Only your aggregated scores are transmitted.
TMI Portfolio Mirror (/tools/mirror)
Collected: Name, email, Profile type and IIRS (self-reported), holdings (name, category, value).
Important: Your individual holdings are processed ENTIRELY in your browser using a client-side screening database. They are NEVER sent to our servers. Only aggregated portfolio data is transmitted.
3. How We Store and Use Your Data
Your data is stored in private Google Sheets accessible only to the TMI founder. It is used for: delivering your reports, understanding our community, sending educational content (with your consent), and improving our tools.
We will NEVER: sell your data, share it with advertisers, use it for non-educational purposes, or store your individual holdings.
4. Your Rights
You have the right to access your data, request corrections, request deletion, and object to receiving marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Skool community or the website. We commit to responding within 30 days.
5. Cookies and Tracking
TMI tools do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics trackers. We use basic Vercel analytics for performance monitoring only — this data is anonymized and cannot identify individual users.
